Hello,

About a month ago an ebay seller who listed Genovation 683 control pad stated that if I have Genovation 4.0 or higher, I can switch the chip and upgrade my pad.
I am wondering if that is true and if I could buy the chips for my pads. I did not need the upgrade at that time, but on second thought I think I may need an upgrade in the future.

Thanks,

The current version is 5.20. Contact our sales or tech support departments -- Chris or Mike at:

http://www.genovation.com/contact.htm

The ControlPad series requires a chip replacement, but it is quite easy and not expensive.

The MiniTerm line supports free downloadable firmware upgrades for the newest models.

There are many new features and we upgrade the products as often as we can. Look for the "Release Notes" link on the product page or contact us.
